I'm a Quitter

My parents always made sure my sister and I didn't quit anything.  When I signed up for softball I had to finish the season even though I hated it.  I didn't have to try out again the next year but I couldn't walk away from this one.  I've always considered myself someone who follows through so it is with a heavy heart that I officially quit my April goals.  They're just not working out for me, I have no desire to complete them and haven't filled in my spreadsheet in over a week.  I think I need to switch back goals that are easily checked off each day, these broader more abstract ideas don't offer the same sense of accomplishment.  I'll try again in May...

  1. I have trouble with quitting things too, but now, instead of looking at it as quitting, I look at is as "changing plans." So, you're not a quitter, you've just changed plans, and I can't wait to see what you have lined up for May :)

Ooh, I have a good May goal for you - visit me in SC :)

  2. Hmmmm...maybe I'll do that. I don't have any open weekends in May but maybe June? Looks like I could get a flight from ACY to MYR for $140 round trip...maybe the 1st or 2nd weekend?

  3. Yes! Changing plans is much better. LoL. Obviously they weren't working to motivate you anyway! FYI, I hadn't tracked my goals either!

  5. Doesn't matter what you call it! You're an adult and you can decide for yourself if the time to move on. But I'm glad we made an impact on you finishing what you start....and you didn't meantion that week at camp.
