Just another Manic Monday

...wish it was Sunday...  Thank god my internal clock is well programmed!  I forgot to turn my alarm clock back on after the weekend of being able to sleep in.  Luckily I rolled over at 6:29 (my alarm usually goes of at 6:30) and noticed it was time to get up.  I had a big meeting and rounding scheduled at work so it would have been a disaster if I overslept.  I'm not loving that it's pitch black in my room when I wake up in the morning now!  Why can't we have light in the morning & evening?

I made sure to dress nicely because my meeting and rounding were in our corporate building.  The top is INC from Macy's and used to fit much tighter, I'm trying to decide if it's too big & should be retired or not.  The pants are from Express and are starting to get roomy but I can still pull them off.  I have the same pair in a different color and they don't stay up, isn't it funny how brands do that, same pants, different colors, different fit?  I've noticed I look taller & thinner when I wear heels so I made sure to put on my Naturalizer grey mary janes.  I think I chose well, I received a few compliments about my weight loss and hair cut while I wandered the building.
I made a breakfast sandwich to eat on the run = 273 calories.  It was delicious!  It's definitely working that I've been switching up my food choices more, I'm not nearly as bored with breakfast as I was getting before.
My morning flew by and before I knew it I was heading back to the office and it was lunch time.  I hadn't packed anything because I wouldn't have a refrigerator to keep things cold so I stopped at Wawa to grab a salad = 305 calories.
I also had these fantastic tuscan three cheese pretzel crisps = 110 calories for 11 crisps.
The afternoon went by quickly as well.  We had a "town hall meeting" with the VP of our department.  For a little more then an hour he reviewed the company's achievements from 2010 then told us about the 2011 goals.  It was very informative but also a little cramped because our entire department had to fit into the front part of the office we're using during construction.  The HR rep that joined us brought along a pretzel tray, bitch, lol.  I had 1/2 a pretzel = 145 calories.
After getting very little actually completed at work I was off to group power.  There was some confusion over who was teaching so Amanda ended up taking the class with us, it was a nice change but made things a little more difficult because I had to whisper my snide comments to people on both sides of me.
Our bridesmaid dresses for Janey's (Joe's sister) wedding were in so I stopped at the bridal shop to pick mine up on the way home.  I didn't bother to try it on while I was there though.  First, because I was sweaty from the gym and second because I wouldn't be having the alterations done there anyway.  Once I got home and cleaned up a little bit I decided to give it a shot.  I had ordered a size 10 even though I measured closer to a 12 back in November & it's good thing I insisted on the smaller size.  It fits perfectly around the middle but the halter strap needs to be shortened and the bust is WAY too big!  I'm going to wait until a few weeks before the wedding to take it over to the tailor, that way if I lose more weight in the next month+ I won't have to worry about 2 sets of alterations.
Joe had decided to meet Tim at The Library for "Monday Nitro" so I was on my own for dinner.  I contemplated picking something up on the way home but couldn't decide what I wanted that would also fit in my calories.  I ended up just heating up the leftover enchilada = 341 calories.  I'm normally not a fan of peppers so Joe left them out of mine when he made the dish but these were pretty good.
There was a box on the front porch when I got home but I kicked it out of the way because my hand were full.  After dinner I decided to open it up and found my GMAT study guide.  It's like 800 pages and very intimidating.  I've given it a lot of thought and although some of the websites recommend taking a prep class or other more intense methods of study I know that wouldn't work for me.  This book is full of questions from previous years tests so I'll read through it in my free time & refresh my math skills.  I really hope I'm allowed to bring a graphing calculator...plus I need to figure out where mine is...
Dinner was so low in calories I had plenty left over for an ice cream bar.  I had the last weight watchers fudge pop and enjoyed it while watching the season finale of The Bachelor = 110 calories.  I'm not sure how I feel about the ending of this season.  From watching After the Final Rose it seems like Brad & Emily have a real relationship but I also get an uneasy feeling from Brad (and always have) like he could be a serial killer or something.
I usually spend my evenings on the couch in sweats under a blanket.  We store the blankets in one of those ottomans that opens up and can be used as a table.  Well imagine my surprise when I went to put my blanket away before bed and found this.
Ian has apparently found himself a new bed!

How did I do on my March goals?
1. Read 2 books:  knocked out a few pages before class
2. Burn at least 750 calories a day for at least 25 days: 2256 burned - 1284 eaten = 972 burned, 10 days total
3. 1200 fitness minutes: 60 minutes today, 680 total for month
4. Eat 1 fruit or veggie with each meal for at least 20 days: tomato w/breakfast, salad for lunch & corn & peppers w/dinner, 11 days total
5. 15 spend free days - bought my lunch, 2 days total...
