sunset cruise

I'm figuring that since Kat will be home from her honeymoon on Thursday I should probably start posting about the wedding weekend!

Mark & Kat had invited their out of town guests and close friends/family on a sunset cruise the night before the wedding.  Around 7pm we all boarded the Porgy IV and headed into the bay.
They had decided to forgo a traditional rehearsal and rehearsal dinner since most of their friends knew how weddings work.  On board the boat was plenty of beer, wine & water for drinking and a buffet with sandwiches & salads.  Joe acted as unofficial photographer for the evening so I've got great shots to share!
Kat was the queen of DIY and put together silver ware rolls with twine and an adorable lifesaver.  For dessert she made cookie packets with a personalized K & M anchor stamp.
As the sun started to set everyone would run back and forth from one side of the boat to the other trying to get pictures of the sunset.
Once it was dark the majority of the guests moved inside to stay warm.  There were lots of group shots taken and everyone enjoyed some more food before getting to the dock.
It was a really nice evening and totally different from most other "night before the big day."  There was talk of an after party back at the house where Kat was staying but we decided to give them their space and went back to our condo for a few more drinks before bed.
